This day-long retreat will include discussion, knowledge sharing, practices, and personal reflection directed toward developing loving-kindness and care with your changing body.
I decided to follow my passion over 19 years ago and dedicate myself to the study and practice of yoga. I have since spent countless hours both taking and facilitating a number of workshops, educational programs, and teacher trainings in yoga, meditation, and yoga therapy. These times of transition and reinvention — in conjunction with my spiritual practice and being a mother to two incredible children — have instilled in me a deep sense of trust that I can adapt to and embrace whatever challenges life brings. It is this innate sense of resiliency and connection to one’s higher self that I aim to guide other people towards.
Kristen Beaulieu, E-RYT® 200, YACEP®, Brain Longevity® Specialist, Yoga Teacher, and Yoga Therapist. Over 20 years ago, I took my first step onto the mat at my local community centre, and it completely changed my life. The inspiration to become a teacher came from the elders in my life, who experienced joy and vitality through yoga. Believing that this practice is meant for every body, I have honed my teaching skills over the past 15 years. My classes are guided by the principles of inclusivity, deep listening, and profound presence.
